Joe Biden and Barrack Obama, This Should Be Fun !

When I first heard that Obama had chosen Joe Biden as his running mate, I was a bit shocked. But shock has turned into curiosity. Biden’s outspoken belittling of Obama in the past is sure to rear its ugly head over and over in the coming weeks.

Remember this one? “I mean, you got the first mainstream African-American who is articulate and bright and clean and a nice-looking guy,” Biden said. So, according to Biden, normal African-Americans can’t speak well, are rather dull, are dirty and are ugly. It’ll be interesting to see how these 2 dance around that comment. What do you African-Americans think of that? Obama is the first!!

Another comment by Biden on Obama, “I think he can be ready, but right now I don’t believe he is. The presidency is not something that lends itself to on-the-job training.” Is Biden right? what experience does Obama bring to the table? I think Biden speaks the truth. If elected, apparently Biden has been hired to provide that on the job training.

Another Biden comment, “If the Democrats think we’re going to be able to nominate someone who can win without that person being able to table unimpeachable credentials on national security and foreign policy, I think we’re making a tragic mistake.” Is Biden right? Has his nomination a way to fill in those voids of inexperience? Probably.

Needless to say, this is going to be a fun presidential race. Obama is the “canidate for change” and is proving that point almost every day. He changes his position depending on the crowd he’s addressing. And I can’t wait for the debates. Obama without a script becomes a blithering idiot. And Obama, by bringing a member of the elite Senate club on board sort of blows away his “clean…oops fresh” image.
