Politics of Climate Change
Posted by Edge on March 31st, 2007 filed in PoliticsAl Gore is going to receive the Nobel Peace Prize. What in the world has he done for peace? If anything, he has promoted hatred of the human race, especially Americans. Normal middle class
Americans are causing global warming, using air conditioners to cool our homes, driving our cars to work and using electricity to cook our food.
The thought that we as humans have the power to destroy the earth is pompous. Just look around at the wonder of nature, the massive mountains and oceans. Do we as Americans have the power to launch a volcanic eruption? No. Can we not be satisfied with our insignificance?
Al Gore owns a palace that uses more carbon based power in one month than the average family home uses in one year. He continues to fly around in a private jet, consuming enormous amounts of carbon based fuel. And he’s preaching to us? Oh….but Al justifies his overuse of carbon based fuel by purchasing “carbon offsets”. What does that mean?
Gore pays a U.K. based investment firm money so that they may pay another company to plant trees. So, some company is planting enough trees to offset his hedonistic use of fossil fuels. Right!!!
So….guess who one of the founders of this U.K. investment firms is. Al Gore?? That would be correct. So Al is basically investing in his own firm, profitting from his payments to supposedly offset his glutenny!
Al Gore wants the government to regulate carbon dioxide production. Think about this. When we
breath, what do we expel? Hmmm…..that would be carbon dioxide. I don’t know about you, but I’m a little uncomfortable with the possibility of the government regulating our breathing.
In an effort to educate and get the word out on these wacky liberal pundits, we are now offering “liberal offsets”. The offsets are one dollar each. Buy one for every liberal you know. These offsets will be used to help keep Edge Media on the web. Click the “buy now” button in the right-most column to contribute. Thanks for your support!

this is nonsense. if you don’t believe humans can have an impact on the ecosystem, i suggest you look at hiroshima or nagasaki
